Madison & Andrew
Telluride Winter Micro Wedding
For Madison and Andrew there was never a question about where they would be married. Both passionate skiers and lovers of the mountains, Telluride, Colorado was the perfect location for their wedding day to feel like an authentic extension of the life they already shared together.
In true mountain-town fashion, Andrew even managed to sneak in a few runs before getting ready for their mountain top ceremony. Rather than rushing through the morning, the day unfolded at an unhurried pace, embracing the adventure and freedom that drew them to Telluride in the first place. Madison carried her own playful nod to the mountains with a pair of blue snowboard boots tucked beneath her wedding gown as her "something blue," while a deep purple velvet cape kept her warm agains the alpine air and added a timeless elegance that felt perfectly at home in the snowy landscape.
With only their closest family and friends gathered to celebrate, every part of the day felt personal and intentional. A smaller guest list created space for genuine conversation, shared laughter, and meaningful moments that might otherwise have been lost in a larger celebration. It was a reminder that the greatest luxury isn't always excess, it's having the time and space to be fully present with the people who matter most.
As evening settled over the San Juan Mountains, guests made their way to the private dining room at Allred's, perched high above Telluride at 10,551 feet above sea level and only accessible by gondola. Floor-to-ceiling windows framed an uninterrupted panorama of 13,000 foot snow covered peaks, allowing the landscape to become the evening's most spectacular design element. There was no need to compete with the view. Every detail inside the room was chosen simply to complement is.
Long family-style tables encouraged conversation while understated white florals, warm gold accents, and candlelight created an atmosphere that felt both refined and welcoming. White faux fur throws draped over each chair echoed the snowy landscape beyond the windows whole doubling as thoughtful keepsakes guests could wrap around themselves on their way down the mountain via gondola. Together with the glow of the fireplace, the room felt intimate, warm, and unmistakably alpine.
Madison and Andrew's wedding is a beautiful reminder that extraordinary celebrations don't have to be grand in scale. When every detail reflects the couple's story and the place they've chosen to gather, even the smallest wedding can leave the biggest impression.
