Emily and Taylor, both Montana natives, found the perfect ceremony and reception location just minutes from their residence. Lone Pine State Park overlooks the Flathead Valley and provides spectacular views of Flathead Lake, Big Mountain and even Glacier National Park.
It was important to the couple that their guests be amongst the beautiful surroundings that Montana offers. And as you can see, the photo opportunities were endless. Photographer, Alisia Dawn, captured some breathtaking shots.
Because the setting was already impressive, the couple didn't feel the need to bring in more decor and florals. Instead, they opted for dried bouquets and boutonnieres for the wedding party and left mother nature to the rest.
The dried arrangements were designed and created by Krysta Cossitt of Elevation Weddings and Events. Russian sage, salvia and lavender came from a home garden. The eucalyptus and feathers were sourced online. The arrangements were tied together with twine and wrapped with purple ribbon. An unexpected bonus to the bouquets and boutonnieres were the relaxing aroma they gave off. A great way to ease the stress of wedding day jitters. However, the best part of the arrangements were that they became a lasting memory of the beautiful day.
