Colorado band and husband/wife duo, You Knew Me When, not only modeled for a stylized wedding shoot at the historic Wright Opera House in downtown Ouray, CO but also got out their instruments to record an amazing music video that captures the love they have for each other and their playful demeanors.
The music video captures what goes on behind the scenes of a stylized shoot (black and white footage) as well as a stage performance (color footage). Combined, the music video illustrates a flirtatious story of innocence, folk culture and true, lasting love.
The small mountain town of Ouray, CO is home to the beautifully renovated Wright Opera House which oozes historic charm and victorian character. A nearly 100 year old theatre curtain was the design inspiration and the backdrop to a dramatic tablescape. Victorian inspired decor was incorporated into a modern wedding theme fit for an indie-rock duo.
Outside the theatre was equally impressive. Ouray, CO is a small mountain town that got its start as a mining town. Today, tourists enjoy the historical elements as well as the beautiful landscape and natural hot springs.
