Summer Elopement, BA + Christine

BA (aka Beth Aynn) and Christine's elopement was an amazing day! They booked my elopement package prior to COVID and stuck it out, eloping just like they had originally planned. Ouray, Colorado offers an incredible variety of picturesque ceremony locations- there is something for everyone!

BA + Christine had their first look amongst the changing leaves in downtown, Ouray, CO and held their elopement ceremony deep in the Cimarron Range of the San Juan Mountains.

The Gerber Daisy in the bouquet represents Christine’s grandfather- they were his favorite flowers. She wanted them incorporated because it became a family thing after he passed.

I believe that every love story is worthy of celebration. Beth Aynn and Christine radiated adoration for one another and it was a privilege to help them tie the knot during this crazy year! Although an elopement IS significantly less planning than a full-scale wedding, there are still quite a few things that we (meaning me + you) need to address in the early stages.

We'll need to determine what type of ceremony you want so that I can present you some venue or site options and find an officiant that will fit your needs. You'll likely still want personal flowers, so I'll source a florist. We'll talk about photography, so that I can find you someone that is available for the timeframe (some photographers have minimums, while others specialize in elopements) and fits your personalities. In my opinion, hair and makeup isn't just for larger weddings. You should be pampered on your wedding no matter the size of your guest count. I'll need to source some food options- it might be champagne and cake, it could be a private picnic for two. Transportation shouldn't be forgotten as some adventures into the mountains require 4WD. As you can see, the list grows quickly, so I'm here to help you source the vendors you need and get the details in order, so that you can enjoy this intimate moment!

An incredibly intimate ceremony, witnessed by their closest friends, what exactly what these two wanted and needed. It didn't make it any less special or emotional- in fact, there were happy tears and overwhelming emotions all day!

An evening elopement is what BA + Christine were after. You can see why in the photos that were captured during golden hour. Not to mention, it allowed for an intimate dinner at Brickhouse 737 just after a quick beer at the Ouray Brewery.
